Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address. We use passwordless authentication (magic links), so we never collect or store passwords.
- Race Data: Race names, dates, distances, locations, goal times, finish times, and notes you enter into the app.
- Checklist Data: Custom checklist items and templates you create.
- Photos: Race photos you upload (Pro feature). Photos are stored securely and only accessible to your account.
- Contact Information: If you contact us via the website or email, we collect the information you provide in your message.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version for compatibility and debugging purposes.
- Usage Data: Anonymous usage patterns to improve the app experience. We do not track individual behavior or create user profiles for advertising.
- Location Data: We do not collect GPS location. Race locations are entered manually by you and used solely to provide weather forecasts.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Create and manage your account
- Generate race checklists and countdowns
- Provide weather forecasts for your race locations
- Process your subscription (if you upgrade to Pro)
- Send you important service-related communications
- Respond to your support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Period.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Open-Meteo: Weather data for race locations. We share only the race location (city/region) to fetch forecasts. Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API.
- RevenueCat: Subscription management for Pro purchases. RevenueCat processes your payment through the App Store or Google Play—we never see your payment card details.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud infrastructure for data storage and hosting. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+).
- Authentication uses secure, time-limited JWT tokens with refresh token rotation.
- We limit access to personal data to employees who need it to operate, develop, or improve the Service.
- Local data on your device is stored using the platform's secure storage mechanisms.
Data Retention
- Your data is retained as long as your account is active.
- You can export all your data at any time from the app settings (JSON format).
- You can delete your account at any time, which permanently removes all your data from our servers within 30 days.
- We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Export all your data in JSON format from the app
- Correct: Update your information at any time within the app
- Delete: Delete your account and all associated data
- Restrict: Contact us to restrict processing of your data
- Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format
